About Us

I started this business in the fond memory of my beloved rescue dog, Ren, who passed in 2014 after 14 wonderful years. Then in 2015, a new little guy, Alonso (Pictured right), entered my life and really helped form me and my business. He taught me so much and gave me his ALL, he was the perfect dog. Then in 2021, right after his 7th birthday, he was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that took him at the end of that week! I was devastated and at a loss. In December of 2022, I drove to Phoenix, AZ to pickup my new co-pilot, Schumi (pictured on the home page), who is a totally different little guy and is teaching me new things every day!

I believe in the fundamental that learning should be fun, rather than chore. I look at training as a way for you and your dog to better understand each other and grow your bond through positive, interactive games.

I'm a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), Pro Dog Trainer (PDT), ​Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI), Canine Conditioning Fitness Coach (CCFC), Stunt Dog Trainer/Judge, Animal Actor Certified Evaluator (AACE), CGC Evaluator and Temperament Testing (through the AKC),  C.L.A.S.S. Instructor (through the APDT), a graduate of the Dog*tec Dog Walking Academy, member of the True Blue Trainers (Blue Buffalo) and Zukes Trainer teams. I am certified in Doggy CPR. I am a self declared "Dog Geek" so my thirst for learning is insatiable. Anything new and/or interesting that involves dogs, I'm there front and center to learn!
